the good people of Wernham Hogg would really love this! Between the Folds is an amazing documentary about the art and science of origami. directed by Vanessa Gould, the film focuses on ten different individuals all who create unbelievable works of art simply by folding, (and folding, and folding, and folding), paper. examining aspects well beyond the paper cranes and jumping frogs we all learned to make in grade school, this video explores the processes, problems and philosophies involved in every form of artistic creation, even going so far as to introduce issues of  personal expression and theoretical development. when all is said and done, Between the Folds proves to be a profoundly beautiful and comprehensive work of art in itself, “unfolding” the overlooked and under-appreciated act of origami. but don’t take my word for it…
